These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Soft Kavach's website, software, SaaS products, APIs, and any other services we offer (together, our "Services"). By using our Services, you're agreeing to these terms — so please give them a read before you sign up.
Who Can Use Our Services
Our Services are meant for businesses, organizations, educational institutions, and individuals who are 18 or older. By using our Services, you're confirming that you're at least 18 and able to enter into a legal agreement. We ask users to self-declare their age when they register.
What We Offer
We provide software products, SaaS tools, APIs, and custom development services, currently available only to customers within India. We may update, change, pause, or discontinue any part of our Services at any time — we'll try to give notice where we can, but we're not obligated to.
Your Account
If you create an account with us, you agree to give accurate and up-to-date information, and to keep your login details safe. Anything that happens under your account is your responsibility, so if you notice any unauthorized access, let us know right away at support@softkavach.in.
Payments and Subscriptions
Some of our Services are subscription-based, others are one-time purchases or custom development projects — the payment terms depend on what you're signing up for. Payments go through trusted third-party payment gateways; we don't store your full card or banking details ourselves. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them, and all applicable GST will be added to your invoice. If a payment fails or isn't made on time, we may suspend or restrict your access until it's sorted out.
For custom development work, projects usually start with an advance payment as agreed in the proposal. Ownership of the code and deliverables passes to you only once we've received full and final payment — more on this in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is part of these Terms.
How We Expect You to Use Our Services
We ask that you don't:
- Use our Services for anything illegal or fraudulent
- Try to break into our systems or someone else's account
- Reverse-engineer or try to extract the source code of our software
- Upload viruses, malware, or anything harmful
- Send spam or misuse our platform to reach other people
- Resell or redistribute our Services without asking us first
If we find you breaking these rules, we reserve the right to suspend or shut down your access.
Who Owns What
All the software, designs, branding, and content that make up our Services belong to Soft Kavach, unless we say otherwise. Using our Services doesn't give you ownership over any of it — just a limited right to use it as intended. If you send us feedback or ideas, we're free to use them without owing you anything for it.
Third-Party Tools
Our Services sometimes connect with outside tools — payment gateways, hosting providers, APIs, and so on. We're not responsible for how those third parties operate, so it's worth checking their own terms and privacy practices too.
Your Data
How we handle your personal information is covered separately in our Privacy Policy, which is built around India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Have a look there for the details.
No Guarantees
We provide our Services "as is." While we work hard to keep things running smoothly, we can't promise they'll always be error-free, uninterrupted, or completely secure — and we don't offer any warranties beyond what the law requires.
Limits on Our Liability
To the extent the law allows, we won't be responsible for indirect losses — lost profits, lost data, that kind of thing — that come from using our Services. If something does go wrong and we're found liable, our responsibility is capped at whatever you paid us in the 3 months before the issue came up.
If Something Goes Wrong Because of You
If a claim against us comes up because of how you used our Services, or because you broke these Terms or someone else's rights, you agree to cover any costs or damages that result, including legal fees.
Suspending or Ending Access
We can suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or misuse our Services — with or without notice, depending on how serious it is. You're also free to close your account anytime by contacting support@softkavach.in. Once your account is closed, your access ends immediately, though your data will still be handled per our Privacy Policy.

We'll acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Indian law, and any disputes will be handled by the courts in Rohtas, Bihar.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date and version number at the top. If you keep using our Services after a change, that means you're okay with the update.
The Whole Agreement
These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy, make up the full agreement between you and us — replacing anything discussed or agreed before.
